  18. If a directory on an NTFS volume has more than eight characters, you cannot
  19. run any self-extracting files in that directory from a Windows NT command
  20. prompt. Another prompt appears, but the file never self-extracts.

  25. You can run the self-extracting file by double-clicking it from File
  26. Manager.

  31. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  32. Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post
  33. new information here as it becomes available.
